Sample Purchase Program

Unsure about choosing your color? The Sample Purchase Program allows you to buy samples of our Stardust Luxury Foundation© and get a great discount on future purchases. When you purchase 6 (six) sample compacts you will receive a $10* discount on your next purchase of $50 or more. You choose the collection or colors you wish to sample.

Choose the collection(s) that seem to be the best match and one of the four undertones will work for you. Please visit the Makeup School-Studio section for tips on how to choose your tone. If you think you may be “between collections” that’s fine because you are choosing from six shades that you can mix if you like. You may also contact a Customer Service Center representative who can help you with your choice.

Historically women of color have had to choose from foundation colors that are not based on actual skin tone and undertone but cultural stereotypes about skin color. Many women have been sold foundation not because it matches their complexion but because it was the closest match in an already limited selection.

Valana minerals works from the philosophy that women of color have a variety of undertones including our Golden Collection (yellow), Amber Collection (red), Earth Collection (olive) and Fire Collection (neutral).

When using the color chart below, if you are comfortable choosing the shade but not the undertone, choose samples from left to right (left/right across categories). If you are comfortable choosing the undertone but not the shade, choose samples from top to bottom (up/down column categories).

Each Stardust Luxury Foundation© sample set comes in stackable 5 gram jars. Each jar contains enough foundation to last several days. The colors you don’t use for foundation can be used for bronzer, eye shadow, or lip color. You can also try mixing your minerals with clear nail polish and create your own signature nail color.

One discount per customer. Cheek, eye color, lip color, and bronzer are not available in sample sizes at this time.
