Quick Tip: Eye color application for "Close Set Eyes"

Quick Tip: Eye color application for “Close Set Eyes-3 Color Application” Apply lightest shade to eye lid and just under brow. Apply midrange shade to the crease to just under the brow. Layer over the midrange shade using the darkest shade to the outer 2/3 of the crease.
Quick explanation: Quick tips are great but sometimes the reasons behind them need a more in depth explanation. This way you can adapt the information for use in other areas.
Color & Contour: Darker colors give the impression that an object is "receding" or brings the object “in.” Darker colors add depth and distance while lighter shades offer the illusion of "prominence" or bring an object forward.
What are “Close Set Eyes?” - Close set eyes are apparent when the distance/space between the eyes is less than the width of the eye. For example, measure the width of your eye, from the tear duct to the outer corner. Then measure the width between the tear ducts of your eyes. If the distance between your eyes (duct to duct) is less than the width of your eye, you have 'Close Set Eyes.”
For a balanced effect: Applying lighter shades to the eye lid, the inner 1/3, and just under the brow will give the effect of “distance” between the eyes. Applying darker shades to the outer crease and blending to contour will enhance the effect.
