Customer Service Philosophy: Customer service is an important part of the Valana Minerals™ philosophy. While I have had great shopping experiences, over the years my family, friends, and I have also experienced poor customer service in a search for cosmetics that fit our needs. Personally, I’ve been humiliated by cosmetic salespeople when their companies didn’t have products in an appropriate color, as though I’d done something wrong by having brown skin. A dear friend of mine was fired from her department store customer service job because she “smiled too much,” as though the company wanted customers to feel unwelcome. These experiences have given me the opportunity to create a company that offers the type of quality customer service I want. This is truly a ‘do unto others as you would have them do unto you’ philosophy.

Your Privacy: Valana Minerals™ honors the privacy of our customers. The information you provide is confidential. We will never sell, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with entities that are unaffiliated with your purchase or other customer requests. Rest assured that all of your purchases are completed through a secure network and shopping cart.

Orders and Shipping: The Valana Minerals™ web store accepts Master Card, VISA, American Express, Discover, PayPal E-Check and PayPal. Our credit card verification system uses CVV (3 digit verification code [4 digit for American Express] on the back of the credit card) verification and billing address to validate credit card purchases. All payment information is collected through a secure SSL server and is deleted once the transaction has been processed.
All retail orders will be shipped within 72 hours of the receipt of your order. Most orders ship within 1 to 2 business days. For domestic shipping, we use United States Postal Service Priority Mail, which typically takes 3 to 4 days to arrive. Insurance is available upon request through the United States Postal Service only upon your request and receipt of payment for such services.

In order to qualify for free shipping items purchased must total $75.00 or more. Shipping costs and sales tax can not be included to qualify for free shipping. This offer can not be combined with other discounts or other offers.

Payments made using PayPal E-Check will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days after the E-Check has cleared your bank. PayPal E-Checks typically clear within 3 to 5 business days.

International Orders: International, APO and FPO orders are shipped using United States Postal Service First Class Mail, Priority Mail or Global Priority Mail. Please allow time for your package to clear customs. Please be aware that customs may charge an import tax or duty fee for your package. Your order will be insured through the United States Postal Service only upon your request and receipt of payment for such services.

Chargeback Policy: Fraudulent credit card chargebacks will be reported to the agencies/companies listed below. Costs will include but are not limited to, the cost of merchandise delivered, shipping fees, chargeback fees, attorney fees, hourly labor for all time incurred in the processing and defense of the claim.
(1) All major credit bureaus – delinquent credit account (7 year record)
(2) United States Postal Service or other shipping service – federal mail fraud
(3) Collection Agency/Service – for collection of delinquent credit amount
(4) Criminal reports to local police/law enforcment agency

Guarantee of Delivery: Valana Minerals™ makes every effort to ensure delivery to the address provided on your order and will attempt to verify delivery information in the event that an error is found. Valana Minerals™ is not responsible for replacement of orders as a result of failed deliver attempts, misplaced packages, incorrect addresses, weather, loss by carrier or loss after delivery.
Backordered items will be grouped for shipping unless the customer requests separate shipping and agrees to pay additional shipping charges.
Valana Minerals™ reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders that we deem fraudulent or appear to have been tampered with fraudulently.

Pricing and Sales Tax: Product and shipping pricing are subject to change without notice. Valana Minerals™ is based in the state of California which requires that all sales shipped within California are subject to sales tax regardless of the residency of the purchaser. California state sales tax will be collected for all sales at a rate of 8.750%.

Exchange: All orders are checked for accuracy by the Valana Minerals™ staff to ensure accuracy in order processing. If you wish to exchange a product that was damaged during shipping call 1.URSPARKLED (1.877.727.5533) or e-mail our Customer Service Center for an exchange request and our return mailing address. We will be happy to exchange merchandise that was damaged due to in shipping or is defective, with a similarly priced product. Exchanges must be reported/initiated within 48 hours of receipt of your order and completed/returned within 5 business days (based on tracking number) of receipt of your order. The products must be in their original packaging and unused. We will not refund shipping charges unless the exchange was due to our error.
Your return package must include a copy of the return confirmation e-mail message, the product you wish to return, and must be mailed with appropriate postage. We will not pay for C.O.D. delivery. Any other returns will be refused.

Claims of Damage: Should you receive an order that has been damaged or opened, (a) immediately contact the carrier and request that the carrier notes the damage on delivery. (b) Save (Do not discard) the original packaging materials (box, paper, bubble wrap etc.). (c) Contact Valana Minerals™ so that we can immediately process your claim.

Discounts: Discounts, coupons, gift certificates, and coupon codes can not be duplicated, reproduced, or combined with other discounts, coupons, or coupon codes. Discounts may not be used to purchase sample sizes products.
